Benny Blanco throws it back to 2007 in adorable Valentine's tribute to Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco just spent their first Valentine’s together as a couple, and what better way to celebrate than with a cute Insta pic. Something that this couple know all too well…

The celebrity couple went public in December, but have since revealed they had actually been dating for six months in secret. Ever since going public, Selena Gomez hasn’t been shy in posting some PDA pics of her and her boo, although for Valentine’s Day, they’ve both tamed it down, and they’re pretty adorable.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco share love for each other on first Valentine’s together

Taking to her Instagram story, the Single Soon singer posted a selfie of the two writing “I love you” as the caption.

In the pic, the two playfully sat side by side as Selena ‘threw up a peace sign’ and stuck her tongue out, while Blanco opted for a ‘reverse peace sign’ while staring into the camera.

It’s a big step back from the usual PDA posts. Just a few days ago, fans said the couple had ‘given them the ick’ as Benny couldn’t keep his hands to himself in a ‘TMI photo’.

The music producer returned the favor and also sent a Valentine’s message to his partner on his stories. In the first pic, the 35-year-old posted a pic of Gomez sitting in a car, covering her head with a scarf, alongside the caption “My Valentine.”

Benny brought out his funny side with the second picture, with the throwback of all throwbacks, a picture of Selena in the Wizards of Waverley Place days, which began in 2007.

The Alex Russo throwback comes as a reboot of the hit Disney TV show is announced. However, it’s said Gomez will only feature in the pilot.

The couple’s ‘history’ goes all the way back to 2015

Although they only became an official couple last year, Benny and Selena actually go all the way back to 2015, when they collaborated in the studio is for the singer’s second solo studio album, Revival.

That same year, it was reported Gomez and Justin Bieber reconciled after their first breakup. Before getting back with the Biebs, she was said to have a ‘fling’ with Russian-German DJ Zedd.

Therefore, it doesn’t look like a romantic relationship with Blanco would even cross her mind at that point.

But they found their way together in the end!
